Asterios is one of the largest Russian Lineage 2 projects, with daily online of up to ten thousand players and even higher during sieges and events. The server has been operating since 2005 and experiences high load on its network infrastructure. During peak hours, many players face typical problems: high ping, packet loss, connection drops, and delays when performing actions.
The main reason is poor traffic routing by the internet service provider or restrictions on IP subnets that were previously used for bots or cheat activities.
